This is a disease of the bone. A bacteria attaches to the bone, the white blood cells attack the invader, over a period of time the white blood cells leave holes. This disease is a specific kind of osteo to which the pain occurs 3-4 weeks after onset. Other characteristics of this type of osteo are that it returns. It is multifocal meaning the disease is present in multiple places.
